The smoothie trend is still going strong and I am here for it! But, not all smoothies are created equal. Too many times a client will tell me of this “amazing smoothie” they made or bought out that is actually loaded in sneaky sugars and totally backfiring on their goals.  So, here is exactly how to keep your smoothies in check and the exact smoothie recipe that is currently on repeat in my kitchen…seriously, can’t get enough!

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 8oz water
  • 1 & 1/2 cups of fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup of celery
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp of ginger
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp of almond butter
  • 1 tbsp of Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
