I am always on the hunt for new snacks that are healthy, satisfying, and delicious, and these Broad Bean Crisps from Enlightened are the total package!
When it comes to snacking I look for 4 things:
- Are there at least 3 grams of protein?
- Are there at least 3 grams of fiber?
- Is the sugar 5 grams or less?
- Are the first three ingredients actual foods (i.e. beans, nuts, seeds, fruit, etc).
The combination of enough protein and enough fiber is what is going to make a snack satisfying and actually fill you up.
